IBERVILLE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Calvin Deggs Sr., of White Castle, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday night motorcycle crash in Iberville Parish.
Deggs, 57, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near White Castle Sunday night.
According to reports, Deggs was operating a motorcycle on Highway 1, near Highway 69 in White Castle, when the bike came into contact with a Ford F-150 pickup truck around 7 p.m. Sunday.
Deggs was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Ford was not injured in the collision.
