BIBB COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Miracle Brantley has been identified as the girl fatally shot Friday in a Bibb County, Georgia home.
Brantley, 8, was shot dead inside a home in Macon Friday evening.
According to reports, police responded to Navicent Health Medical Center on a call of a young girl being transported to Navicent Health Medical Center suffering from gunshot wounds Friday.
Brantley was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at 8:07 a.m. Sunday.
Officials later determined Brantley was shot inside a home in the 2300 block of Ballard Drive near Ballard Hudson Middle School in Macon before 4 p.m. Friday.
This cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
