
NY Teen Ellis Ganter ID’d As Victim In Saturday Night Duanesburg Fatal Vehicle Crash

SCHENECTADY COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Ellis Ganter, of Howes Cave, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal vehicle crash in Schenectady County.
Ganter, 16, was killed and three other teens injured in a single-vehicle crash near Duanesburg Saturday night.

According to reports, Alyssa ‘Lyss’ Bruno, 19, of Cobleskill, was operating a vehicle on Duanesburg Road near NY-7 in Duanesburg, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8:40 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a utility pole.
Three other teenage passengers were transported to area hospitals in unknown condition. Bruno’s condition was not provided by officials.
Officials cited weather as a possible cause of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
