WALKER COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Missing Alabama woman, Summer Buzbee, is a victim of foul play, said the Walker County Sheriff’s Office on Friday. She was last seen by her male roommate at home in the Redmill-Saragossa area on December 17.
Friday, the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, along with a group of volunteers, conducted searches for Buzbee, 23, in the area of Williams Road and Old Russellville Road in Jasper. During the search, the group found some of her belongings.
Deputies say the foul play conclusion is based on some recent circumstances and findings.
The roommate spoke with deputies, but later requested his lawyer be present.
Walker County Sheriff’s deputies said they now consider him a suspect.
Anyone who may have seen Buzbee around December 17 or after should contact police at (205) 302-6464.
