OKLAHOMA COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Preston Morales, of Del City, Oklahoma, has been identified as the pedestrian in a Christmas night fatal vehicle strike in Oklahoma County.
Morales, 29, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle near Oklahoma City Friday night.
According to reports, Morales was operating a vehicle on Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City, when for unknown reasons, he exited the vehicle and attempted to cross the roadway. At some point, Morales was struck by a passing vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Morales was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
