VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — Hayden Hatcher, of DeLand, Florida, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal single-vehicle crash in Volusia County.
Hatcher, 29, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Orange City early Sunday morning.
According to reports, Hatcher was operating a Chevy S-10 pickup truck on Veterans Memorial Parkway and Monastery Road in Orange City, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Sunday around 1 a.m.
Hatcher, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
