BENTON COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Ethan Mast and Kourtney Aumen, both of of Lincoln, Missouri, have been identified as the suspects arrested after a four-year-old was found dead Sunday morning. The child’s mother and a two-year-old also severely injured.
Mast, 35, and 21-year-old Aumen, were arrested Sunday and are facing multiple felony charges.
According to reports, Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to call of a child beaten, submerged in a pond and left to freeze before being taken back into a residence around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Police discovered two injured family members who were transported to a nearby hospital.
The investigation remains ongoing.
