LABETTE COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Mandy Armstrong-Karstetter, of McCune, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal vehicle crash in Labette County.
Karstetter, 44, was killed in a multi-vehicle crash near McCune Monday night.
According to reports, Karstetter was operating a Ford Fusion on NE Highway 400, when the vehicle was rear-ended by a Dodge Ram pickup truck, operated by 41-year-old Derick Spencer of Cherryvale. Karstetter’s vehicle then came into contact with a semi-tractor around 6 p.m. Monday.
Karstetter was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The other drivers were not injured in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
