SEARCHLIGHT, NV. (THECOUNT) — At least five bicyclists were killed and four injured Thursday morning in a crash near Searchlight, Nevada.
Five people riding in a group of at least nine bicyclists were killed after they were struck by a box truck near Searchlight Thursday.
According to Highway Patrol spokesman Jason Buratczuk, the group of bicyclists were struck by a box truck near mile marker 35 north of Searchlight.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
