ACCOMACK COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Shawn Michael Turner has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning vehicle crash in Accomack County, Virginia.
Turner, 18, was killed following a single-vehicle crash near Bloxom Sunday morning.
According to reports, Turner was operating a vehicle on Winterville Road near Gaurdshore Drive in Bloxom, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 4 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree.
Turner, who was partially ejected during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
