ESSEX COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Cassandra Baker, of Beverly, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday drowning in Essex County.
Baker, 41, died in an apparent drowning near Gloucester on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Baker was found floating face down in the water in Rafes Chasm near Hesperus Avenue in Gloucester around 1 p.m. Sunday.
Baker was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Officials say they do not suspect foul play.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
