JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Daniel Ray Logsdon II, of Louisville, Kentucky, has been identified as the pedestrian in a deadly Friday night hit-and-run in Jefferson County.
Logsdon, 28, was killed near Louisville after he was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle.
According to reports, Logsdon was on-foot in the area of his workplace, the Taco Bell in the 5400 of New Cut Road in Louisville, when he was struck by an SUV that then fled the scene around 8 p.m. Friday.
Logsdon was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Officers later located the involved SUV “abandoned in a parking lot a short distance away” from the deadly incident, according to police.
