DELAWARE COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Yates, of Richwood, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning motorcycle crash in Delaware County.
Yates, 37, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash in Scioto Township early Thursday morning.
According to reports, Yates was operating a motorcycle on OH-37 near Brindle Road in Ostrander, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3:15 a.m. Thursday. The bike then entered a culvert and made contact with a building.
Yates was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
