MADISON COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Jesse D. McCombie II, of Canastota, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday night motorcycle crash in Madison County.
McCombie, 35, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Sullivan Monday night.

According to reports, McCombie was operating a Suzuki motorcycle on Bridgeport/Kirkville Road in Sullivan, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and made contact with a utility pole around 7:45 p.m. Monday.
McCombie, who was ejected during the crash, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
