FORSYTH COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Brian M Colson Sr, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday morning vehicle crash in Forsyth County.
Colson, 64, was killed in a fiery vehicle crash near Winston-Salem Early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Colson was operating a Ford Taurus in the 200 block of North Broad Street in Winston-Salem, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a utility pole and a parked vehicle before bursting into flames.
Colson was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash of blunt and thermal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
