KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Connor Meert, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck Saturday morning by a vehicle in Kalamazoo County.
Meert, 21, was killed while attempting to cross a street in Kalamazoo Saturday morning.
According to reports, Meert was on-foot in the area of West Michigan Avenue near Emajean Street in Kalamazoo, when she was struck by a passing vehicle around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Meert was transported to an area hospital where she passed away of blunt force trauma injuries.
