MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Lukas Boykin, of Columbus, Georgia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday night shooting in Muscogee County.
Boykin, 30, was fatally shot before midnight near Columbus Friday night.
According to reports, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 4800 block of Toney Dr, just before midnight Friday. When they arrived, officers located Boykin suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the area of 4858 Toney Dr.
Boykin was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday morning just after midnight.
The investigation on the deadly incident remains ongoing.
No motive of suspect information was provided.
