FAIRFIELD COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Sophie Mazgay, of Amanda, Ohio, has been identified as the teenage victim in a fatal Wednesday vehicle crash in Fairfield County.
Mazgay, a senior athlete at Amanda High School, was killed following a vehicle crash Wednesday near Amanda.
According to reports, Mazgay was operating a Kia Sportage on US 22 near Sand Hill Road, when the vehicle came into contact with a dump truck.
Mazgay was transported to an area hospital where she later died of blunt force trauma injuries.
Lancaster Girls Softball Association took to Facebook to remember Mezgay:
