ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Daniel Scott Palmer, of Lafayette, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal single-vehicle crash in St. Landry Parish.
Palmer, 45, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on LA-10 in St. Landry Parish late Thursday night.
According to reports, Palmer was operating a vehicle on LA-45, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway late Thursday night. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment.
Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
