SALINE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Sydnee Soendker, of Blue Springs, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Monday afternoon UTV crash in Saline County.
Soendker, 17, was killed and another teen seriously injured in a UTV crash near Slater on Monday.
According to reports, Soendker was operating a UTV in rural Slater, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 1:30 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then entered a culvert, ejecting both occupants.
An unidentified teen was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Soendker was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
