BENTON COUNTY, AR. (THECOUNT) — London Holmbeck, of Springdale, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night multi-vehicle crash in Benton County.
Holmbeck, 22, was killed in a wrong-way Interstate 49 crash near Rogers Monday night.
According to reports, Holmbeck was traveling as a passenger in a Chevrolet Cruze going the wrong-way on I-49 near Pleasant Grove Rd in Rogers, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Chevy. That vehicle then made contact with a Range Rover around 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Holmbeck was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Cruze and the operator of the Range Rover were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
