SAINT LOUIS COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jimmie Lee Watkins of Florissant, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Saint Louis County Saturday night.
Watkins, 55, was killed in a crash on Interstate 70 involving an MoDOT truck Saturday night.
According to reports, Watkins was operating a motorcycle on I-70 near Salisbury Street in St. Louis, when the bike came into contact with an MoDOT truck around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Watkins was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
