BINGHAM COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Susan Joisse Coon, of Arco, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash in Bingham County, Idaho on Tuesday evening.
Coon, 59, was killed in a three-vehicle crash that injured two others near Blackfoot on Tuesday.
According to reports, Coon was operating a vehicle on US-20 and US-26 in Blackfoot, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control and made contact with a vehicle operated by 55-year-old Lawrence Clark of Pocatello.
Coon’s vehicle then collided with a minivan, operated by William Mobley, 37, of Idaho Falls, around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Coon was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Mobley and Clark were transported to area hospitals in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
