GILES COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Taylor Denise Quesenberry of Pulaski, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle crash in Giles County on Monday afternoon.
Quesenberry, 27, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Pearisburg on Monday.
According to reports, Lawrence Bowman, 77, of Christiansburg, was operating a vehicle on Route 100 near Animal Sanctuary Lane in Pearisburg, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes on Monday afternoon. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a vehicle operated by Quesenberry.
Quesenberry was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Bowman was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
