JOHNSON COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Bryan Heath Sanders, of Blue Springs, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal motorcycle crash in Johnson County.
Sanders, 53, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash near Warrensburg Sunday night.
According to reports, Sanders was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on NW State OO Hwy near NW 521 in Warrensburg, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8 p.m. Sunday. The bike then came into contact with a fence and a grouping of trees.
A female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital with what was described as moderate injuries.
Sanders was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
