MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Eric Nelson Bandstra, of Phoenix, Arizona, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash Friday night in Maricopa County.
Bandstra, 47, was killed following a motorcycle wreck near Phoenix on Friday night.
According to reports, Bandstra was operating a Suzuki motorcycle on East Greenway Parkway near North Cave Creek Road in Phoenix, when for unknown reasons, possibly speed related, the bike made contact with a curb around 8 p.m. Friday.
Bandstra, who was ejected from the motorcycle during the wreck, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
