TULARE COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Bryan Michael Buhl of Visalia, California, has been identified as the driver in a fatal Thursday night DUI collision that killed a motorcyclist in Tulare County.
Buhl, 42, was arrested after to admitting to consuming alcohol following a fatal vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash Thursday night near Visalia.
According to reports, Buhl was operating a vehicle on West Caldwell Avenue near South West Street in Visalia, when he turned into the path of a motorcycle around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries. His name has not been released as of Friday morning.
Buhl was arrested and will be booked into the Tulare County jail.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
