HALL COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Alexander Schneberger, of Wood River, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday afternoon vehicle collision in Hall County.
Alex Schneberger, 21, was killed after his disabled vehicle was struck by another vehicle near Grand Island on Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, Schneberger was tending to his disabled vehicle on South Alda Rd in Alda, when the vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The force of the collision caused the disabled vehicle to flip into a culvert around 3:00 PM Wednesday.
Schneberger was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
