PEACH COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Dominique Xavier Towns, of Fort Valley, Georgia, has been identified as the body found in an apparent vehicle crash in Peach County on Tuesday.
Towns, 28, was found deceased Tuesday in a vehicle crash near Fort Valley after being reported as missing on Tuesday.
According to reports, Davis was located inside a crashed Hyundai Elantra on State Highway 96 in Fort Valley on Tuesday.
According to his 52-year-old uncle, Kirek Davis, the body was confirmed to be that of Towns.
Towns was last seen on Thursday, June 25, when he departed his residence for work in Warner Robins.
Fort Valley Police issued a statewide alert for Towns’ vehicle and entered his information into the National Crime Information Center missing-person database.
The cause of death was not provided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
