
NY Man Peter Cotsis ID’d As Victim In Wednesday Goshen Fatal Bicycle Collision

ORANGE COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Peter Stephen Cotsis, of Chester, New York, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday afternoon bicycle collision in Orange County.
Cotsis, 62, was killed in a bicycle collision involving a vehicle near in Goshen Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, Cotsis was operating a bicycle on Craigville Road near Johnson Road in Goshen, when the bike came into contact with a Nissan Rogue, operated by 38-year-old Nurit Baruch of Brooklyn.
Cotsis was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A police report noted that Cotsis’ GPS showed he’d ridden 28 miles on Wednesday.
According to social media, Cotsis was a musician and an avid cyclist.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
