SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Treadwell, aka California rapper “Bris,” has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday shooting in Sacramento County.
Treadwell, 24, was involved in a vehicle crash before being fatally shot on Sunday in Sacramento.
According to officials, Treadwell was operating a vehicle on Fruitridge Road near Franklin Boulevard in Sacramento, when for still undetermined reasons, the vehicle wrecked. Treadwell was shot at some point there after around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
Treadwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Bris” had gained attention for his rapping across Northern California and beyond.
The cause of the accident the resulting shooting remains under investigation.
