DEARBORN COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Gary Klopp of Rising Sun, Indiana, has been identified as the victim in a single-motorcycle crash in Dearborn County Sunday night.
Klopp, 53, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Manchester Township Sunday night.
According to reports, Klopp was operating a motorcycle on IN-48 near Louden Rd, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The bike then entered a culvert ejecting the rider into a utility pole.
Klopp was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
