LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Janice Kay Kipp, of Anton, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Lubbock County Friday night.
Kipp, 62, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Shallowater Friday night.
According to reports, Kipp was operating a vehicle on US-84 near Farm-to-Market Road 179, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then overcorrected and rolled over.
Kipp, who according to social media was an Anton ISD Custodian, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
