BANNOCK COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Aaron D. Ayers, of Pocatello, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday morning two-vehicle crash in Bannock County.
Ayers, 37, was killed early Saturday morning two-vehicle crash in Pocatello.
According to Idaho State Police, Ayers was operating a vehicle on W. Buckskin Rd, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes Saturday around midnight. The vehicle then came into contact with a vehicle operated by an 18-year-old Pocatello driver.
Ayers was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A child, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The condition of the other driver was not provided by officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
