WOOD COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Charles TenBroeck, of Canton, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Wood County, Ohio Thursday night.
TenBroeck, 73, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Stoney Ridge on Thursday night.
According to reports, TenBroeck was operating a pickup truck on I-80, also known as the Ohio Turnpike, when for unknown reasons, the truck crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a concrete barrier around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
TenBroeck was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
