IBERIA PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — David Arthur Marcotte of New Iberia, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday vehicle crash in Iberia Parish.
Marcotte, 55, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in New Iberia on Thursday.

According to reports, Marcotte was operating a Chevy Colorado pickup truck on Fremin Road near LA-88 in New Iberia, when the vehicle came into contact with a Ford F-450 pickup truck, operated by 29-year-old David Bourque of St. Martinville.
Bourque suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Marcotte was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
