PITTSYLVANIA, VA. (THECOUNT) — Henry Bradley Burnett of Chatham, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a single-motorcycle crash in Pittsylvania County Sunday.
Burnett, 50, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Banister early Sunday.
According to reports, Burnett was operating a motorcycle on US-29 Business near Malmaison Road in Banister, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:20 Sunday. The motorcycle then made contact with a highway sign.
Burnett, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene of the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
