CAROLINE COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Bryant E. Walker, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday night crash in Caroline County.

Walker, 53, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in near Woodford Saturday night.

According to reports, Walker was operating a 1989 Ford Ranger in the 8700 block of Cedon Road in Woodford, when for unknown reason, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9:50 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a grouping of trees before rolling over back onto the roadway.

The vehicle was then struck by a Mazda operated by a 20-year-old man.

Walker, who at partially ejected from his vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The Mazda driver was uninjured in the crash.

No one was cited at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
