COOK COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Jamin Perry, of Brainerd MN, has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Cook County, Illinois Sunday morning.
Perry, 39, was killed in an Interstate 290 semi-tractor crash near Berkeley on Sunday.
According to reports, Perry was operating a semi-trailer on I-290 near Charles Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then made contact with another big-rig.
Perry was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The condition of the other driver was not provided by officials.
