AIKEN COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Randall Darn Sapp, of Beech Island, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday morning single-vehicle crash Aiken County.
Sapp, 48, was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning near Beech Island.
According to officials, Sapp was operating a vehicle on Log Pine Rd near Beech Island Ave, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The vehicle then came into contact with a grouping of trees.
Sapp, who was ejected from the pickup truck during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
