LANCASTER COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Pharmacist, Joseph Michael Stratton, of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle crash in Lancaster County Friday afternoon.

Stratton, 56, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday near Nottingham.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Stratton was operating a vehicle on Nottingham Road near Balance Meeting Rd, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment causing it to roll over.

Stratton, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
