NODAWAY COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Neil Bradley Minor of Tarkio, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday vehicle crash in Nodaway County.
Minor, 37, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near Maryville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Elizabeth Merriett, 31, was operating a Mercury Monterey on Route 46 near Maryville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then made contact with a utility pole and flipped over multiple times.
Minor, a passenger who was ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Merriett was transported to a hospital with unknown serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
