SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Jonathan Hitt of Spotsylvania, Virgina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Motorcycle crash in Spotsylvania County on Wednesday afternoon.
Hitt, 39, was killed Wednesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash involving a BMW motorcycle in Livingston.
According to reports, Hitt was operating a BMW motorcycle on Brock Road near Herndon Road, in Livingston, when for unknown reason, he lost control and made contact with a pickup truck. The initial caused the pickup to collide with an SUV around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Hitt was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Occupants in the pickup truck and the SUV who were transported to area hospitals with unknown non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
