ANDROSCOGGIN COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Joshua Lussier, of Lewiston, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday night Interstate 95 single-vehicle crash in Androscoggin County.
Lussier, 31, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Lewiston Monday night.
According to reports, Lussier was operating a vehicle on I-95, near Old Lisbon Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then made contact with a guardrail. Lussier was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Lussier, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
