ONTARIO COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Zack Bassett, of Palmyra, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday evening crash in Ontario County.
Bassett, 21, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Farmington on Saturday evening.
According to reports, Bassett was operating a Dodge Neon at the intersection of Allen Padgham Rd., and Hook Rd., in Farmington, when one of the vehicles failed to yield the right of way. The vehicles collided in the intersection around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Bassett, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The truck driver and a passenger suffered unknown injuries.
