HAMPTON, VA. (THECOUNT) — Keira Reese-Johnson of Chesterfield, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash in Hampton Saturday night.
Reese-Johnson, 20, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Hampton Saturday night.
According to Virginia State police, Reese-Johnson was operating a vehicle on I-64, when the vehicle became disabled near Magruder Boulevard. The slow moving vehicle was then rear-ended by a fast moving SUV around 7:30 Saturday.
Reese-Johnson was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
An 11-year-old child passenger inside the SUV was also transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to records, Reese-Johnson was a recent graduate of Chesterfield Lloyd C Bird High School.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
