PALMER TOWNSHIP, PA. (THECOUNT) — Wardell Gross III, of Bethlehem, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday night crash in Palmer Township, Pennsylvania.
Gross, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Easton on Saturday night.
According to reports, Gross was operating a vehicle on Route 22 at the 25th Street exit in Easton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck an embankment and a fence.
The vehicle came to a rest after rolling over into a hotel parking lot.
Gross, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Gross was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
According to records, Gross has lived in Vinland, NJ, Bethlehem PA, Albuquerque NM among other states.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
