SC Man Shamar Anderson ID’d As Victim In Friday Hilton Head Island Fatal Shooting

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC. (THECOUNT) — Shamar Anderson has been identified as the victim of a fatal overnight Hilton Head Island shooting.

Anderson, 21, was shot dead following an altercation at an apartment on Hilton Head Island Friday night.

According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, officer responded to a call of shots fired at Sandalwood Terrace on Hilton Head Island. When they arrived, Anderson was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds around 10 p.m. Friday.

Anderson was transported to an area hospital where he wa later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

The deadly incident remains under investigation.
