SOUTH JORDAN, UT. (THECOUNT) — Richard Gomez, of West Jordan, Utah has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday afternoon single-vehicle motorcycle crash in South Jordan.
Gomez, 56, was killed in a motorcycle crash in South Jordan on Friday afternoon.
According to the South Jordan Police Department, Gomez was operating a motorcycle on Bangerter Highway near 10200 South, when for unknown reasons, he lost control and exited the roadway Friday afternoon. He was then ejected from the bike.
Gomez, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma head injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
