BARNSTABLE COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Blade Leavenworth, of Bourne, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday single-vehicle crash in Barnstable County.
Leavenworth, 25, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Monument Beach on Thursday.
According to reports, Leavenworth was operating a pickup truck on Clay Pond Road near Small Street in Bourne, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then struck a large boulder and rolled over, coming to a rest after making contact with a substantial tree.
Leavenworth was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
